It is the traveller’s responsibility to be in possession of a passport that will be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the conclusion of the journey. Tour participants must also ensure that they comply with all visa and health requirements of countries they intend to visit. Any inoculations required must be recorded on a valid inoculation certificate and in your possession for inspection at customs/immigration if requested.
Early reservations are recommended as all services are on a request basis. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 per person is required at the time of booking to confirm your request for any departure. Full and final payment is required no later than 60 days prior to first service being provided.
Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted as payment for most services. There is a 3% surcharge to use a credit card. The cardholder’s signature authorizing payment and amount must be submitted to Tourcan Vacations prior to any documentation being released.
Cancellation: If you cancel more than 60 days prior to departure, we will refund your payment less the $500 non-refundable deposit per person.
59 to 45 days prior to departure, $700.00 non refundable per person.
44 to 30 days prior to departure, $1000.00 non refundable per person.
29 to 15 days prior to departure, $1500.00 non refundable per person.*
14 days prior to departure, 100% of your payment is non refundable.
*Plus any unrecoverable deposits paid to airlines and suppliers.
Changes: Changes to itinerary are subject to a $25.00 fee per change. Additional services are considered to be a booking and exempt from these charges.
Refunds: No refunds will be made for any unused portion including hotels, sightseeing, cruises, transfers, meals, international or domestic flights with or without notice unless cancelled or missed by the supplier.
To protect yourself against cancellation charges, we highly recommend the purchase of adequate Cancellation, Health or Comprehensive insurance which must be purchased at time of initial deposit. If you have coverage through your credit card company, it is important to confirm whether or not they cover cancellation penalties.
Please note that living standards and practices as well as standards and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, sanitary services, the grading of accommodation and dress may differ from Canadian standards. Your understanding is appreciated.
Documentation will be sent once full payment and credit card authorization, if applicable, are received by Tourcan Vacations. The documents will contain a tour itinerary, airline tickets if applicable and destination information.
We use Deluxe, Superior, First Class or best available in remote areas. All rooms have a private washroom. All hotel taxes, service charges and government taxes are included in the prepaid tour price. Accommodation is based on 2 persons sharing a twin or double room. Single room supplements apply to all persons requesting a room for single occupancy. Requests for upgrading rooms are subject to additional charges. Where available, handicapped or non smoking rooms are always on a request basis but not subject to additional costs.
Please note: We will do everything possible to confirm the hotels as listed in our itineraries. However, hotels are subject to change. We reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar quality.
All tours list what is included and excluded from the itineraries. Clients have the option of purchasing the tour exclusive of any international flights. Cost of any tour DOES NOT include any applicable prepaid airport departure taxes, passport or visa charges.
Any “customized” tour, pre- or post-tour add-on is still subject to the same terms and conditions listed above.
Lemongrass Tours, Tourcan Vacations and its suppliers reserve the right to accept or decline any tour member should it be determined that the participant's health, mental or emotional condition or physical needs could interfere with the smooth operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of the other tour members. The refund of the unused land tour services is limited to Tourcan Vacations liability when these rights are exercised.
All rates for a group departure tour or for a customized itinerary include planning, communication, handling and operational charges and are quoted at the current rate of exchange and tariffs. Please note: Costs are subject to revision in the event of a marked increase in foreign currency exchange, tariff rates or airfare, if applicable.
Lemongrass Tours shall not be liable for any claims, losses damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment for any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts of restraints imposed by government authorities.
Lemongrass Tours and Tourcan Vacations, the operators, its agents, and/or suppliers of services act only as agents for the traveler and accept no responsibility for services of any hotel, aircraft, vessel, train, motor coach or any other conveyance used in connection with these tours, nor any delays, loss or accident to travelers or baggage occasioned by such services, from whatsoever cause. In the event it becomes necessary due to changes by supplier's airlines, or for the comfort or well being of passengers, or for any other reason, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the operator. The extra cost, if any, resulting therefore, shall be paid by the tour members. Conversely, refunds will be made to passengers if any savings are effected thereby. The right is reserved to cancel any tour and to decline to accept any person as a member of the tour, at any time. The payment for reservation on a Lemongrass Tours group departure tour or a customized itinerary shall constitute consent to all provisions in the terms & conditions list published herein.
The airline[s] concerned is not to be held responsible for any act, omissions or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft. The passenger tickets in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the passenger.
